Due to successful development and progression a well known B2b organisation are seeking experienced PR Officers with specific knowledge of media and broadcasting. You will be reporting to the Head of PR and required to manage and enhance the company profile by working closely with key stakeholders externally and internally, contributing to the PR and Communications plan to create a consistent brand presence in the print media industry and endeavour to build and maintain strong relationships. On a day to day basis you will create exciting copy for releases and editorial for specific regional press and develop a convincing database of media contacts both in print and broadcast media. It is essential that you will be able to develop media contacts to make sure you are the first person called for comment in the event of regional business issues. You will also be required to work with the Marketing & Events team to promote events and services, identify new opportunities to drive the business forward and maintain consistent communication with editors and broadcast media channels to ensure a proactive approach contacting them to sell-in timely information and positive informative news stories. You will be of graduate calibre or similar with significant press experience and excellent contacts within the West Midlands area. Does this sound like the perfect role for you?
