Digital Marketing Executive

Brief Overview

This is an opportunity for an experienced Digital Marketing Executive to join an expanding team within a highly innovative design and brand agency. Their client base operates campaigns across all digital marketing channels from PPC, SEO, and social media / email as well as high-end design.

The role

You will be a vital and integral part of the account handling team and work closely with account handlers and creatives to oversee the seamless transition of campaigns. You will also be supporting the agency in developing their own digital marketing offering, helping to deliver paid search and social media campaigns. You will also be responsible for providing research and insights to assist with the future performance of the agency and their clients. Day to day, you’ll be working with a mix of clients, advising on their digital marketing campaigns, which can be overseeing a social media strategy, to optimising content for their websites and attaining key performance indicators.

In essence, you will predominantly take responsibility for managing digital campaigns with a focus on sharing knowledge to develop the wider team’s digital aptitude. Over time, you will develop and grow this aspect of the business so there is true longevity & prospects for the right person.

What we’re looking for?

The role requires both creativity and an analytical mind, and you must be able to build and develop strong internal working relationships and be confident in presenting your reports and analysis. You will need at least 18 months experience of managing digital campaigns, combined with strong analytical skills and able to view digital projects as part of a wider picture for a client’s campaign. You will also have knowledge of the options available in the different search engines and social media, as well as knowledge of display advertising and Google Analytics (preferable) and Google Tag Manager (desirable though not essential). Further knowledge of social PPC, Facebook advertising is desirable.

This role will be client facing so prior experience in a client facing environment is preferable to ensure high levels of client service delivery along with excellent written and verbal communication skills. As much as technical skillset and experience is essential for this role, the candidates’ overall attitude and personality is just as important. You will be a valued member of the team and will need to work alongside the account handlers to help deliver a high level of service to the clients as you will be providing the digital aspect of the campaign. Your digital and creative knowledge will always be taken on board and considered so you need to be confident in suggesting your own ideas.
