This small, creative boutique agency is looking for a talented Head of PR / PR Account Director to join their growing team.
Due to recent account wins and an office expansion, this full-service, integrated agency needs a senior PR professional with digital PR skills to join its expanding PR team. The role will see you responsible for the delivery of PR, media, and copywriting services across the full range of the agency’s clients, covering education, manufacturing, professional and financial services, and leisure sectors, and working on PR strategy, campaign activation, and everything in between. Duties will include building strong client relationships, managing the strategy, planning, activation, and evaluation of integrated creative campaigns, creating proposals and scopes for clients, creating and managing budgets, managing media target lists, organising media launches, creating campaign plans and calendars, producing a range of written PR content, managing proactive and reactive media relations, and supporting the marketing team with copywriting.
What we’re looking for
The ideal candidate for this position will have at least five years’ PR experience, preferably gained in an agency – but you could be a PR Account Manager or a Senior PR Account Manager, as the agency is very happy to look at more senior applicants. Regardless of level, your experience should certainly encompass developing and implementing strategic PR campaigns, including digital and social media activity. You should have excellent campaign and client management skills, strong creativity and copywriting ability, the ability to translate technically challenging subject matter into engaging stories for both media and content marketing, proven media relations skills and contacts, experience in delivering campaigns, fluency in digital and social media platforms, and superb communication skills. Technical writing experience and an understanding of SEO and keywords would be advantageous, and you should have a portfolio that demonstrates your abilities and experience.
