Internal Communications Executive

Opportunity to join a pioneering professional services group in their first purist internal communications role.

The role

The time is right for this dynamic and fast-paced professional services firm to add to their Comms team with an Internal Communications Executive.  Working within a small comms team, reporting to the Head of Comms you will be responsible for shaping and delivering an internal communications programme which enables information sharing and creates engagement with nearly 800 staff based in the UK and overseas. You’ll have the responsibility of developing and managing the firm’s intranet and internal social network platforms and bring together joint HR/Internal Comms projects. In terms of day to day duties you will be drafting, scheduling and delivery of all internal comms including weekly newsletters, daily updates, and management cascade briefings as well as delivering monthly Leadership Lunches across all offices as well as delivering content for an internal awards scheme and developing annual company-wide roadshows. You’ll be happy to work across a variety of media, so whilst a lot of the role will involve writing, you’ll also draft story-boards and scripts and content for internal digital content such as videos and webinars.

What we’re looking for

You’re going to need a proven track record of internal communications within a corporate environment to be considered for this role, and an understanding of how the internal tone of voice must mirror external communications. You’ll be educated to degree level or similar and will be strategically focussed. You’ll be the type of person who always wants to introduce new technologies and methodologies which can only advance the internal communications offering and are in keeping with the dynamism of the firm.

The salary for the role is competitive, but this is dependent on experience. Our client is city-centre based and offer a large benefits package including 25 days holiday, pension, bonus scheme and travel pass scheme as well as a flexi-benefits system.
