My client, a large regional retailer with branches across the Midlands and the North of England, is currently looking for a Studio Photographer and Artworker to join their creative team.
As the Studio Photographer and Artworker, you’ll be working directly under the Marketing Studio Manager and your role will be split 60:40, with the 60% biased towards photography. Within this role, you will take entire responsibility for the photography needs of the company, producing high-quality images to be used across e-commerce, marketing materials, and internal communications, ensuring the photography process is managed correctly from the initial request and image capture through to the correct naming and filing of the image. You shall also be accountable for the image library, ensuring that photographic standards are maintained and follow the photographic design guide, and manage the auto-transfer of the library to the web. The other 40% of the role will be artwork related, preparing repro-ready artwork for direct mail, brochures, posters, vouchers as well as any other print-based requirements, all the time ensuring that briefs are adhered to and follow strict branding guidelines.
What we are looking for
Ideally, you will have two years’ commercial experience which has been gained in-house or within an agency, and as this is a dual photography and artwork role it’s imperative that you’re as comfortable with a camera in your hand as you are sitting behind a Mac and artworking.
