This is a credible and career enhancing role with a brand communications agency based on the outskirts of Manchester. The clients cover different sectors across B2B and consumer markets, as do their requirements, and they require an inspirational creative who has a portfolio of work which demonstrates innovation for a range of clients in different market sectors, across all media.
Reporting directly to the Founder, and working closely day-to-day with the Head of Strategy, you will bring strong brand and marketing communication strategies to life, across multiple platforms. In essence, you will be the lead creative and guiding light on all projects, working very closely with the studio team to generate creative ideas and concepts for a range of integrated campaigns. As expected, a part of this role will be to guide and mentor a small creative team as well as playing a significant part in the development and direction of the department. You will be used to working closely with client services and digital teams to ensure a seamless transition of briefs into the creative domain and they are as clear and inspirational as possible. This agency has grown over the past few years and is keen to hire a forward-thinking creative who is moving up the ranks and can add value to their continuing success.
What we’re looking for
It is very important that you have a fair few year’s agency experiences under your belt with a minimum of two to three years in a senior design/creative capacity. Your work must include design which values the use of white space and typography as well advertising and digital which can hold the eye of the reader. Equally important is an ability work on briefs which are fully integrated and include digital for different audiences and different brands. It is equally important that you possess experience of brand development and marketing communications, as well as proven expertise in art directing video and photography shoots. It goes without saying that you will enjoy leading and inspiring a team and enjoy the challenge of influencing the creative output of the agency. Mentoring experience is important and it may suit someone who has occasionally deputised for a senior creative and is now looking to take on such a role permanently. You will be confident presenting your ideas internally and enjoy the challenge when a pitch for new or existing business is taking shape.

The future potential of the role is excellent as you will be given the opportunity to enhance their creative offering across all platforms. Remuneration for the Senior Creative Designer or Creative Director role will be in the range of £35,000 – £50,000 but this is dependant on experience and will reflect the future challenges of the role and will be reviewed at each stage of your progression and development.
