You’ll be working as an integral part of the creative and wider marketing team, helping them deliver high-quality design across a wide range of digital assets, from large web builds to more visionary and simplistic pieces. It’s very important that you have the ability to work within brand guidelines while remaining interesting and unique. Day to day, you’ll work on existing brands and new ones from the ground up, collaborate with other creatives and marketers, work independently and with small groups, and take the lead on design on diverse projects which will primarily have a digital focus, along with offline campaigns.
What we’re looking for
Along with the innate ability to create original concepts and detailed execution, you must have a strong knowledge of what is feasible, and be able to run your own projects across multiple platforms. You’ll be a strong, visually aware designer with a portfolio crammed full of finely crafted material. You will possess a user-centric approach to digital design, be able to work with stylish imagery, and, ideally, be comfortable with offline design too.
It is envisaged that you will have at least four years’ experience in a design role, and the capacity to dive into different briefs, for different products, across different mediums. You’ll most likely be operating in an agency environment, or in-house with a brand that has a lifestyle or consumer edge to it. The environment of this company runs along very similar lines to a brand / integrated agency, so you’ll have the best of both worlds if you are looking to move from an agency to an innovative client-side setting. You’ll enjoy keeping up-to-date with what’s going on in the digital world of design, and you’ll be able to look beyond a piece of creative and understand how imagery and words can evoke a desired reaction.
