This is an incredible opportunity for a Senior Designer to join the in-house creative team of a superlative brand. Day to day, you will work on an eclectic mix of online and offline projects which will relate to either existing or new brands – you’ll work on the latter from the ground up, so plenty of room to utilise your true creativity. The work will include everything from modern and finely executed printed material to engaging online assets and advertising, and both small and large scale projects. You will ensure branding stays consistent across all mediums, and contribute ideas and design consultation to a mix of briefs. The environment runs along very similar lines to a brand / integrated agency, so you’ll have the best of both worlds if you are looking to move from an agency to an innovative client-side setting.
A key part of the role will be to be work alongside other creatives and the wider marketing team, sharing ideas and working cohesively to create work that sets the creative bar very high. You will also be exposed to the development of new brands from concept, ensuring the seamless transition of briefs from idea to stage to fruition. You’ll be working on brands which lean towards a culturally diverse target audience, and the style of design is extremely modern and simplistic.
What we’re looking for
First and foremost, a creative who has a clean and modern approach, and who appreciates the simplicity and elegance of balanced design; who can not only come up with ideas and well thought-out concepts, but deliver on a wide range of briefs. You’ll be able to work with stylish imagery and appreciate the use of white space and subtle typography, and be comfortable with both online and offline design and marketing. It is envisaged that you will have at least four years’ experience in a design role, and the capacity to dive into different briefs, for different products, across different mediums.
Your portfolio of work will be of an exceptionally high standard, and you will most likely be operating in an agency environment, or in-house with a brand that has a lifestyle or consumer edge to it. You’ll enjoy keeping up-to-date with what’s going on in design, and you’ll be able to look beyond a piece of creative and understand how imagery and words can evoke the desired reaction.
