A large IT technology group based in Manchester requires a creative marketer to work directly with the Marketing Director, to support further growth via online and offline channels. This group is comprised of several market-leading brands and due to continued success, they are looking to grow their in-house marketing team.
You will create, manage, and implement marketing campaigns across online and offline channels, and build and maintain a calendar of campaigns to support key verticals, working with sales managers to support their sector objectives. You will also research, plan and organise a calendar of external and internal events for lead generation purposes, from briefing sales attendees, to stand setup, collateral, call to action, briefing/debriefing sales and lead follow-up. You’ll work very closely with other members of the marketing team, and wider company employees, when writing and managing the production of marketing materials including brochures and coordinating design and print. You’ll also be responsible for lead data and reporting for ROI purposes – this includes chasing sales for lead updates to the system, pulling data across multiple systems, compiling and maintaining excel reports on all leads generated by marketing activities.
What we’re looking for
A self-motivated, well-organised Senior Marketing Executive with creative flair who relishes the chance to ‘own’ a role and be proactive in driving the business forward. You’ll need demonstrable experience of working in-house or within an agency environment as an Account Manager or similar, managing multiple stakeholders and internal and external resources, as well as solid understanding of the full online and offline marketing mix. You may be a marketing /creative graduate, or studying CIM, or another marketing related qualification, and possess exceptional written communications skills, with the ability to adapt style to suit different audiences. It is important that you are highly experienced with Excel, comfortable managing data (inside or outside of CRM systems) and marketing reporting. Experience in B2B marketing, ideally within the technology market, and comfortable dealing with the sometimes technical subject matter is a real advantage.
What’s on offer?
A salary of between £25,000 and £28,000 + excellent benefits, such as pension, extra holiday allowance as well as the chance to broaden your scope and horizons outwards from a specific sector or function within the marketing mix.
