Founded in 1988, we are a specialist recruitment consultancy for career-minded candidates seeking new opportunities in the agency and in-house marketing sectors. We work with a diverse mix of integrated and niche agencies, from independent start-ups to world-renowned groups. We also recruit for the in-house marketing departments of SMEs and blue chip organisations, covering a variety of sectors which, over time, has included national retailers, charities, Premier League football clubs, big players in the legal and financial sectors, and innovative tech-based companies.
The agency and in-house scene has changed dramatically over the years and so has the nature of the roles we handle. Who would have thought just a few years ago that we would be recruiting for Community and Social Media Managers, or have clients looking for candidates who are experts in SEO and PPC?
Needless to say, the foundations of our business have been built upon helping people through the career moving process. We have always hired consultants who have ‘lived’ and appreciate the pressure of moving jobs. Our consultants are mature, vastly experienced, and what they don’t know about helping candidates in the creative sector probably isn’t worth knowing! We still feel an immense amount of satisfaction in helping someone find their ideal role, from an Account Executive making their first move up the ladder, to a Marketing Manager taking the step up to Director.
We are here to help – this may appear a basic and obvious perception, but it is a well-founded and genuine statement. It may be a small thing such as advice on your CV or dress etiquette for an interview, or something larger and more personal such as negotiating your salary. We have helped a diverse mix of candidates over the last 25 years and, more often than not, they have become our clients.
This website is purely our shop window and an extension of our service, so the real advice comes from talking to us – and, in truth, we prefer to talk! There are quite a few people out there that do what we do, but by taking time to meet or talk to us, you will see that our intentions are in the right place. People move jobs for a variety of reasons – they’ve been in a job too long, they’re relocating, or they are simply keen to push on with their career and learn new skills. Whatever your reason, our advice is to think carefully before you make the decision to move. It can ultimately be rewarding, but don’t take the decision lightly – the grass isn’t always greener on the other side.

A job search and move will bring you joy and sadness in equal measure, but making the right career move is incredibly rewarding.
