Account Manager – FMCG

Brief Overview

Situated in sublime surroundings, this is an opening for a brand focused Account Manager to join with an agency which has a grounded & considered culture, where you will be given the opportunity to work with iconic brands in the FMCG sector.

The role

On a day to day basis, you will be developing award-winning campaigns for a raft of well-known consumer brands, which will have an online and offline focus, implementing each campaign from brief to completion. You will be managing clients’ expectations by overseeing the creative and strategic development of each campaign which will cover branding, design, POS, packaging & online tactics.

It will also involve managing budgets and timescales, supporting your Account Director, and projects will come in all shape & sized with varying budgets & different degrees of creativity, from short to long term awareness campaigns.

You’ll benefit from having a team of talented creatives & marketers around you, that will help you produce campaigns that win over hearts & minds.  This is a mid-sized agency so you will not get lost in the crowd & there is ample room to grow and develop.

What we’re looking for

We are seeking a marketer great digital and brand & FMCG (food & drink) focused integrated experience, along with experience managing the end-to-end creative process. You’ll have an excellent way with clients and take a proactive approach & anticipate the successful candidate having ambitions to grow and develop their capabilities over time, to be able to explore new opportunities within current and potentially new clients, to help grow the overall business.

You will need solid evidence of FMCG branding experience and 2-3 years in an agency environment as well as knowledge of shopper marketing, including an understanding of FMCG retailers, from in-store through to online, with the ability to input creatively to client briefs.

It is also important that you have worked closely with a design or creative studio, overseeing the creative development of projects & you will be expected to demonstrate strong communication skills and experience of dealing with internal teams, external suppliers, and clients, coupled with the ability to lead the creative process.
