Ref: 3035

Brand/Campaign Marketing Executive

Brief Overview

In just three years this company has grown from just 10 staff to nearly 200; they were one of the few companies to boom during and immediately after Covid, and they’re absolutely onto a winning formula.

They’re a distributor of some of the newest and biggest US and UK FMCG products to retailers (high street multiples as well as to independent stores) and this role will involve the launch and post-launch campaigns for these brands, from beginning to end.

It’s a corker of a role which will definitely involve opportunities for growth and development, it’s also based right in the city centre so very easy to get to.

The role:

This is a brand-new role as the marketing department continues to grow, and you will work closely with the Marketing Director to understand the brands within the group. You’ll oversee the planning, development, organisation and execution and completion of the campaigns, turning strategy into action.

Every campaign is different and could vary from a single project to a multi-channel and multi-faceted marketing campaign, but it will be your role to brief internal resource to ensure everything is developed and delivered to the exact level of quality. Naturally, this could involve print as well as digital campaigns, so it’s important that you have a sound understanding of all full-service campaigns.

You’ll liaise with someone of the biggest brands in the world, fine-tuning campaigns which will entice and excite the UK market.  The products which are sold are very much disruptors to the traditional industry, so you won’t fear developing campaigns which might be less traditional!

What we’re looking for:

We need you to have some experience from a marketing role where you’ve been responsible for managing a product, not a service, and whilst you won’t be managing a team you will be taking the lead on superb brands.

You’ll be keen to understand the nuances of marketing to trade, and whilst a background in FMCG or product would be useful it certainly isn’t essential.   If you’ve worked in an agency environment and are keen to move inhouse, this could also be the perfect opportunity to do so, as you’ll be working across multiple brands.

You’ll also be happy project managing and briefing a digital marketing team and designers to curate and implement the campaigns, your role will be to develop and ensure the campaigns are carried out effectively, but you won’t be writing or creating anything yourself.

What’s on Offer?

Salary for the role is between £33-35,000 with the usual benefits.  The offices are fabulous, and you’ll be based there full time – there’s lots of reasons why this company chooses to work in this way, but it really suits their business model.

Located in Birmingham city centre, there’s loads of transport opportunities and it is a really vibrant atmosphere.
