Brand new role as Communications Manager with an aspirational organisation whose key focus is sustainability as well as aesthetics within the built environment. Consequently, there’s always something really interesting to be communicated to the wider world!
This organisation are currently using an external agency and are looking for bring this senior level role in-house, in a strategic but also implementation-led role. You’ll take control of the communications and marketing strategy managing all internal and external communications.
Naturally this will be a broad base and will include social media, PR, website content and internal news via their intranet site. Having recently undertaken a full re-brand, you’ll ensure that everything you produce fits in with the core brand strategies and is followed across the business.
You’ll liaise with internal stakeholders to find new and exciting ways to connect with audiences in new sectors and will engage with staff members across the business to develop engaging content. You’ll write for press releases for journals and external websites as well as scheduling content and releases with external providers to enhance press coverage. You’ll collaborate with the in-house designer and Bids team ensuring content is visually appealing and you’ll also develop awards submissions.
What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for a marketing Communications professional who has experience with developing and implementing strategy who is happy to remain hands on – there isn’t a team to ‘do’, that will fall to you.
You’ll be hugely flexible and be able to provide innovative and exciting opportunities for development. Experience in a b2b organisation, perhaps within the build environment sphere would be useful but isn’t essential.
