The role is to support the Marketing Director and wider marketing team in creating content that does the experience they deliver justice, in creative and interesting ways. It’s for someone that loves bringing a brand to life through video, graphics, copywriting and a wide range of digital assets, supported by their internal creative team and external resources. They are moving towards a more digital platform & you will be responsible for the linguistic content of their key brands, working across a range of media and formats.
You’ll help to formulate a content strategy, work closely with the team on marketing campaigns, create content to drive traffic to their website and produce new and interesting ways to capture the experience for existing and future customers. It’s the ultimate content marketers brief. The core of the role will be to produce regular content in a variety of formats – web, email, video as well as compelling copy for campaign ads.
As expected, a key part & most interesting part will be producing original ideas and clear, credible and engaging copy & being able to communicate concepts to a wider marketing team, which cover many disciplines. You’ll also create powerful individual assets with an understanding of how they will be used as part of a wider sustained or tiered campaign.
What we’re looking for
You’ll most likely need 3+ years’ experience & be used to producing content across a variety of formats – you’ll be expected to ensure the brands’ proposition is reflected across both long and short-form content, so one day it could be a beautifully crafted brochure & the next, producing a compelling and informative blog post that positions the company as a thought leader.
Knowledge of the property or related sectors would be handy but not essential. Knowledge of SEO & inbound marketing best practices would be handy coupled with an understanding of how to amplify content and create greater reach will be beneficial in this role.
Equally a candidate who is experienced in creating copy for B2C & B2B sectors and being able to tailor your language to different audiences should be a pretty integral part of your skillset.
What’s on offer
A salary of between £25 – £30,000 which will rise, based on performance, plus the chance to work for a company which is non-hierarchical and not afraid to promote and develop from within.
