This is an opening with a high-end luxury consumer brand that has an incredible history of prestige and pedigree and is seeking a Content Writer to curate all elements of content (online and offline), mainly writing but also images, video, and consumer marketing materials.
You will work closely with the marketing, product and creative teams, where you will be responsible for the creation and auditing of all content. It is an affluent audience and you must be competent in drawing out the right information that will appeal to these elite segments and writing it in a style and tone that will seduce and evoke emotion. You will implement and maintain an editorial calendar and content plan & work with internal teams to manage and fulfill the brochure production process, which will be for 3 leading brands.
You will be in touch with the needs, desires, and lifestyles of their consumers, drive the content strategy, ideas, and plans that are relevant and responsive to this demanding audience. You will achieve this through developing written, visual, video and rich media content to be some of the best in the industry. You’ll transform factual product information into credible, customer-centric copy that evokes emotion & ensure it meets brand values and guidelines; is informed, engaging and provides a point of differentiation.
You will also set-up and handle the ongoing maintenance of a central source of up-to-date information (copy, images, and video), and deliver content that is relevant and responsive to their customer needs. The quality control and accuracy of the content published to their websites, printed brochures, client documentation, and marketing collateral will also fall under your remit. This will be in conjunction with proactively generating ideas and creating unique, inspirational stories/ content that adds value and engages their client base and can be used in PR and blogger outreach.
What we’re looking for
This will suit someone an English, Journalism or Arts-based graduate who has at least 2 years of relevant experience with a record of improving and enhancing content including (but not limited to) copy, images, video & marketing materials. It may well suit a Copywriter (in-house or agency) who is used to writing for a discerning audience and, needless to say, has a real love of the written word plus the drive and energy to succeed within the culture of a high-end & prestigious brand.
