Digital Account Executive

Brief Overview

Digital Account Executive required by a full-service, award-winning marketing and media agency that builds employer brands, delivers innovative talent attraction strategies, and market-leading digital solutions. They’re one of the best-kept secrets in the industry and as part of the client service team, you’ll help to plan and deliver tailored digital solutions for a huge variety of brands and employers.

The role

As Digital Account Executive, your focus and responsibility will be supporting their Head of Digital and wider Client Services team to plan and buy digital media and create and optimise Google Ads campaigns, and set up, track and manage programmatic activity and maintain and review their clients’ reporting dashboards.  The work will typically cover employer branding and communications, through to adverting, media planning and buying, mobile apps, careers websites to social media management and content strategy. You’ll also be involved in setting up, managing and analysing paid social media activity (Facebook / Instagram / LinkedIn) and will interpret multiple data streams to optimise campaigns. You’ll proactively identify trends to continually improve and refine performance & become an intrinsic and key part of the client services team. There’s loads of variety and autonomy, which means you certainly won’t be pigeonholed or micro-managed. Instead, you’ll develop a deep understanding of clients’ marketing and advertising activity to deliver data-driven campaigns, solutions and insights.

What we’re looking for

We’re not looking for someone with wads of experience, but it would help if you have a good grounding in digital marketing via a placement or internship either with an agency or in-house. You’ll also have a natural ability to build and foster relationships, your focus is to add value to the business by delivering appropriate solutions through strategic creative thinking and exceptional customer service. It’s important that you’re driven, pro-active and are willing to learn! There’s a lot to learn, but they have an incredibly experienced team who’ll help you develop your knowledge and skills – supporting you every step of the way. You’ll bring excellent time management, close attention to detail, an ability to manage multiple campaigns along with concise communication skills.
