Digital Content Assistant required for a large leisure business in Warwickshire with multiple divisions. 12-month Fixed Term Contract, January 2019 start.
The company are rebuilding their websites from the ground up and are halfway through this huge undertaking. They are updating and transferring content for their consumer websites onto new platforms. As Digital Content Assistant, you will provide administrative support to the content team together with creating and updating the existing content. Duties will include assisting in the content gathering process, updating existing website content, following briefs to amend the website, creating product copy, and making sure that product information is accurate. In addition to this, you will be responsible for the collation of product information and imagery, plus researching competitor content to identify opportunities.
What we’re looking for
In short, the client is seeking someone who is able to move, create and optimise content. Ideally, you’ll have 1 years’ experience in a similar role, technical knowledge, a creative flair, excellent creative writing skills and the highest possible attention to detail. You’re going to need to be incredibly literate, with an appreciation for how language is used to effectively communicate, influence and convert. On the technical side, this role requires experience of Google Analytics and an excellent working knowledge of SEO. This isn’t a social media role so we are looking for applications from Content Writers who have written for web content rather than purely social media pages.
