Digital Executive

Brief Overview

This is an opening with a first-rate integrated agency that consists of some very talented marketers and offers a grounded culture and extremely stable levels of staff retention and development. Their portfolio of clients is across both UK and Europe and they are now looking for a client-facing Digital Executive to add value to their continuing growth.

The role

You will be working alongside a raft of savvy marketers on an array of digital projects and campaigns, supporting the wider marketing and comms teams. As Digital Executive, typical responsibilities will include website management and content population using tools such as WordPress & the creation of landing pages using Instapage, as well as marketing automation tools such as HubSpot, Pardot and Marketo.

A key element will be to support throughout the web development process, including planning, sitemap/wireframe creation, asset management, content population and internal QA, and configure tracking using tools such as Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.  You will also be involved in setting up and managing digital advertising campaigns on Google ads, LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook, and will be accountable for reporting on digital activity, including paid campaigns and website performance.

You will actively participate in both team and client calls/meetings to present results, update on project status and capture feedback/requirements.   Another element will be the management of email campaigns using providers such as Mailchimp and Campaign Monitor, as well as SEO, including keyword research, on-site optimisation and auditing client sites using tools such as SEMrush. Planning and implementation of chatbot/chatbot decision trees to support on-site user journeys will be another aspect of the role.

What we’re looking for

It is envisaged that you have put at least 2 years of related experience under your belt, overseeing digital campaigns across a variety of platforms, plus sound knowledge of digital strategy, terminology, and marketing technology. This will have been gained either in an agency or in-house environment, ideally within the B2B sector as well as an understanding of UX / CRO and the quoting process for digital services.  You should be keen to stay up to date with digital developments, learn new skills and be able to quickly embrace new tools and marketing technology.
