Brief Overview

The internal marketing team is set up like an agency & this role is a new addition to assist in the creation of visual assets for the existing marketing team.  At your disposal is a brilliant mix of long serving employees, who offer fantastic insight and knowledge on the business, as well as a good injection of new talent who bring new fresh ideas.

The role

The key to this role is to inspire and drive the creative look & feel of their brands – delivering thoughtful design across integrated campaigns, content and brand assets.  You will activate the creation of brand assets for use across all channels, including website, social media, emails, app, advertising, presentations and additional content.

You will take ownership of digital design projects from brief through to production – from creating concepts, working through feedback, presenting and testing.  You’ll deliver engaging campaign concepts for advertising and brand activations with genuine cut through and commercial viability.   You’ll also coordinate different creative projects through effective project management, ensuring all work is on brief and delivered on schedule.

And, independently source suitable photography, create illustrations, infographics and graphics for use in design work.  You’ll also play a crucial role in the conceptualisation process of projects, providing input on potential design solutions and effectively communicating design-focused considerations when being briefed on tasks by the wider business.

What we’re looking for

Your portfolio will demonstrate the innate use of white space as well as the ability to produce engaging & contemporary design that captures the mind & imagination.  Every piece of work you create will impact on the image, style, and ethos of this company and its respective brands – so you’ll be producing a high level of design across online and offline channels. You’ll need experience across all aspects of design and be passionate about creating and executing great design & have a love for brand building, with a strong understanding of how to design for different channels.

The role will involve creating innovative, responsive and highly engaging static and motion-based assets to be used across multiple digital platforms, so you’ll need all-round design savvy, with proven experience in digital campaigns, websites and branding.

You’ll also need strong creative and technical skills in Adobe Creative Suite, including motion graphics & a proven track record in creating impactful, eye catching and elegant designs.  Strong graphic design, layout and typography skills with sharp attention to detail are very important as is the ability to create a wide variety of assets from concept to production.
