This is a credible and career enhancing role for a savvy digital marketer, based in Cheshire with a leading provider of specialist services to the marine, oil and gas industries.
As part of the dynamic in-house marketing team, you’ll support different business units which will involve travel nationally to work with them. You will be responsible for the day to day management of the companies three e-commerce sites and will see you work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop the business’s e-commerce channels and help drive sales and growth. The role will be focused on managing e-commerce sites to support increased sales and revenue through online channels, using various analytical tools to identify and suggest on-site improvements to improve user journeys and increase conversions. An important aspect of the role will be to manage the day to day creation and amendment of products via Magento and WordPress, across multiple sites, including content, merchandising, image creation, and copywriting, and actively merchandise all sites to provide the best possible UX.
What we’re looking for?
You will have at least two years of e-commerce experience preferably in the B2B sector and will be an experienced and confident user of Magento CMS (Magento 2 preferable), and should have website administration experience, such as WordPress. It is also important that you understand order management/customer fulfillment in an e-commerce context. You will have knowledge of marketplace channels such as SEO and PPC, and the ability to interpret data and produce reports. Basic web technology knowledge is also a must (i.e. FTP, browsers, basic HTML, data files). Personality wise, you will need to have confidence in project management and be able to use your communications skills to make innovative and proactive suggestions for improvements.
