This company is a little bit different. They’re a buying organisation for the fashion and retail industries and as part of this they operate a huge number of events and exhibitions, and this role will sit within the events part of the business.
As Email and Data Officer, you will oversee the operational and technical scheduling of email marketing, website updates and data reporting. Broken down, this means keeping to a regular schedule of upcoming emails, including newsletter and bespoke updates and announcements. You’ll manage the email process, ensuring they are created, approved and published on time as well as overseeing email databases across a number of platforms. You’ll support in the design of email marketing templates in accordance with brand guidelines.
You’ll work closely with the CRM provider to take on training to ensure best use of the relevant platforms. Reporting on email campaign performance, A/B testing across content and subject lines will be a massive part of your role, and you’ll constantly be learning and developing to ensure maximum outreach. Additionally, you’ll manage user lists and email audiences and manage the unsubscribe process.
What we’re looking for:
As mentioned above, you’ll live and breathe email marketing and will have at least 12 months commercial experience under your belt, with an understanding of the latest and best performing email/SMS marketing campaigns.
You can demonstrate experience of managing databases and be able to show experience of building and executing effective customer communication plans.
You’ll also understand digital marketing campaigns and be able to translate digital analysis into useful insights and actions to optimise performance and make recommendations.
What’s on Offer?
The role is offered on a hybrid basis, with 3 days in the office. Salary is up to £27,500 and there’s the usual holiday allowance, plus your birthday off and the opportunity to buy additional days.
