To achieve this, the company is looking for an innovative marketer that can operate as the brand guardian, broaden their appeal & create awareness & noise via tactical marketing campaigns.
This is a truly creative & hands-on marketing role where you will be given real responsibility for a range of marketing campaigns, both online & offline, to support their commercial objectives. You will work very closely with the sales & wider commercial teams, supporting them on delivering effective business-wide marketing campaigns across all assets. You’ll also look after their external digital agency ensuring design & commercial objectives are in line with your ideas & advice.
You will be the creator of campaigns & manage the ‘tone of voice’ of the company’s messaging to reflect its position as a leading provider to a range of industry verticals – particularly financial services; banking and insurance. You will also ensure the execution of such campaigns and initiatives are within the set timescales & proactively generate concise, accurate copy and content to support marketing initiatives.
You will also work closely with the sales function to analyse the competitive marketplace & understand potential receptiveness to their messaging & undertake analytics of marketing channel metrics to analyse their effectiveness. You will also utilise an effective CRM system & manage their presence at exhibitions, seminars, trade shows and networking events as well as jumping on good news stories as and when required.
What we’re looking for
Above all else, you’ll need to be self-sufficient, enjoy a hands-on role in a bustling SME & skilled in delivering innovative B2B & B2C marketing campaigns; online & offline, from concept to execution. It is preferable that some of your marketing expertise has been honed in the tech or recruitment space, but more important is your ability to drive awareness & engagement.
Without question, you’ll be an effective communicator and influencer; more than capable of building effective working relationships, internally & externally experience of communicating at C-Level, and needless to say you will have a proven track record in producing and managing successful end-to-end marketing and communication campaigns, and know how to reach defined target audiences.
It is also vital that you have experience of working closely with sales teams to achieve commercial objectives & have a solid understanding of the importance in driving ROI from marketing activity. Most of all, you will be more than capable of overseeing all routes to market including innovative brand awareness campaigns, from content and communications to PR & digital as well as developing business relationships and events.
