A leading light in the financial sector is looking to recruit a Group Marketing Manager who enhance the brand with their marketing prowess.
In their time they’ve won a selection of awards, built a strong team of 110 (which is continually increasing), and expanded to create four subdivisions, but now, it’s time to mix things up! They’re looking for a Group Marketing Manager who can step into the role, assess what they’re already doing and bring in some fresh ideas. You’ll step into a bustling environment, they’re busier than ever, and will take ownership of the marketing department which means that you’ll be responsible for all day-to-day operations and it will be down to you develop and implement innovative marketing and communications strategies and campaigns that contribute to the business’ strategic goals, build awareness, and increase engagement and conversions. Digital is also a part of this role, so you’ll be working on overseeing the digital strategy and will be focusing on driving web traffic through SEO, AdWords campaigns, social media, and eDM campaigns, and will always need to keep your beady eye on the competition as well as keep abreast of overall market conditions.
What we’re looking for
B2B and B2C marketing experience would be great, and a background in the financial services sector would be a huge bonus! It’s important that you have in-depth marketing knowledge, both online and offline, are able to create campaigns and strategies that deliver results, and take a strategic, analytical approach. Man-management experience is a must-have, you’ll need to know how to mentor, manage, and nurture a team, and need to be comfortable communicating at all levels. Afterall, you will be implementing changes and will need to communicate these changes to key stakeholders. As a person, the role calls for a Marketer who is energetic, passionate, and bursting with ideas – you mustn’t be afraid to push them forward.
