Marketing Coordinator

Brief Overview

A new era of connectivity is here and this fast-growing provider has hit on a big gap in the market, tripled in size over the last 18 months, moved to new purpose-built offices, and created its own fibre optic network capable of delivering high-performance broadband speeds to homes and businesses. This Marketing Coordinator position is perfect for a recent marketing graduate who has some commercial experience gained through an internship or placement, looking for a broad marketing role that has longevity and endless opportunity for personal development.

The role

This will be a hybrid marketing role working across online and offline projects from creating content for news items and social channels, working with external digital and media agencies, running events, creating print-based materials, web maintenance through to research and analysis. The Marketing Coordinator role will also see you working alongside a very experienced marketer and, will give you ample opportunity to work across different aspects of the marketing mix, covering both online and offline disciplines. You’ll also be building effective relationships with internal sales teams, external agencies, and clients, including attending client meetings, and supplier briefings.

Your work will form part of our omnichannel approach and will also include preparing promotional material, monitoring social platforms, and compiling metrics, and reporting on the effectiveness of all marketing campaigns conducting market analysis. In essence, you will also be fully involved in end-to-end marketing campaigns that drive awareness, acquisition, and retention across a variety of offline and online channels. Another key element of the role will be ongoing involvement and interaction with several areas of the business needing to drive forward and coordinate activity in order to meet wider company objectives.

What we’re looking for

You don’t need wads of experience but an interest in B2B marketing and the tech sector would be quite handy for this Marketing Coordinator opportunity. This business has thrived over the past two years and it’s a brilliant time to join because they are on the up and marketing is of critical importance to them.

This role will suit someone who is looking for their first break into the industry. We’re looking for someone who has anything from 3 – 9 months in a digital marketing or agency-based environment, that may have been gained on an internship or placement, alongside a degree in Marketing. You’ll need to have a good understanding of the latest marketing trends and techniques, and experience of creating content would be a plus too, even if not in a professional sense. It’s important that you are tech-savvy, able to use Microsoft Office software, and experience with Adobe would be a plus too! Attitude is of prime importance in this role & it will suit someone who enjoys working on a mix of marketing projects and is happy to get stuck in and run with projects from start to finish.
