The role

As the marketing lead for one of their key property & lifestyle brands, this role is ultimately responsible for the brand’s entire marketing execution.  Adopting a multi-channel approach, you will co-ordinate the execution of plans that aim to grow brand awareness & deliver amazing experiences to their customers, UK & overseas.

This company is way ahead of the curve in terms of how they market their brands and has a culture which is underpinned by togetherness & a collective aim to do things that buck the trend.  Their level of success has been meteoric, but they’ve never lost sight of who they are, which is why people stay for long periods.  This is a senior role, where you’ll work their most senior leaders across the business to ensure they create and execute joined up marketing plans to deliver commercial objectives.  This role will play a key part in shaping brands, products and services that are taken to market and as such, need a highly creative, entrepreneurial thinker who is commercially savvy. The role is responsible for a marketing function that aspires to grow through a combination of headcount expansion and third-party support.

To push market awareness, you will oversee a multi-channel strategy including online (PPC, social media, Website etc) and offline (Events, local brand awareness etc) techniques, and you’ll also oversee the development of highly creative sales support assets like brochures, websites & photography that represent the brand correctly to the desired audience and articulate the value proposition coherently.  The marketing function that you oversee will also need to identify and manage key media and service partners and marketing agencies.

The role initially has a number of direct line reports with people management being an extremely important aspect of their grounded culture, and you’ll be expected to guide & motivate your team. This marketing function is destined to grow and how it’s structured as it scales, and the roles required, will be your responsibility to define.

What we’re looking for

This role is specifically aimed at an innovative marketer who has expertise in the planning and evaluation of modern B2C online and offline campaigns and has a grounded & sincere character that can get the best the best out of those around them.  You’ll need experience of dealing with senior stakeholders, running a team, and will enjoy getting stuck in, from idea to delivery.

Your career will be structured & progressive, and your expertise will have been gained in an agency or in-house environment, and sectors of interest include property, lifestyle, FMCG or retail.

It is also vital that you have experience of bringing new products to market, from the ground up, working closely with sales teams to achieve commercial objectives & have a solid understanding of the importance in driving ROI from marketing activity.
