The role

The main mission for the Marketing Director role is to help grow and scale the business by creating brand fame & achieving this recognition will be based on a best-in-class marketing strategy that encompasses B2B marketing, PR and best in class digital channels.

This position requires full engagement and efficient communication across functions/teams to align and implement the marketing strategy, while ensuring consistency and protection of the brand’s image, and ultimately achieving business goals.

You’ll be responsible for building brand fame as they want to become recognised as the most exciting, innovative, growth brand in the logistics industry & you will be responsible for building a strategic communications strategy to make this happen.   You’ll be the guardian of their product philosophy, design world, and brand purpose and how they manifest across all consumer touch-points.

In addition, you’ll build, lead and inspire a marketing and design team to develop comms that are effective and creatively excellent in equal measures to build brand love and awareness.

What we’re looking for

You’ll be, obsessed by brand behaviour,  excited by different brands from a range of sectors who demonstrate creative brilliance. You will constantly be searching for inspiration for engaging brand behaviour across a range of channels and touch points that could be relevant and provide opportunities for the brand.    You’ll also be commercially astute & understand marketing isn’t a blank cheque and all activity has to have a strong commercial rationale with clear KPI’s.

Previous Head of/Marketing Director or similar agency level experience is preferred as well as a structured career with a clear track record of success & ideally, have experience of helping to grow a technology business through innovative marketing, communications and brand behaviour.

You will also ideally of been part of significant funding/investment milestones & excited about going on a journey of rapid growth – the business is growing extremely fast and we need leaders who can work at this pace. We need to build a team of exciting marketing talent and creative thinkers who want to come on this exciting journey.

Passionate about technology too, immersed in new technology apps, platforms and consumer products. You will understand macro and micro technology trends to ensure the App narrative and proposition remains relevant and best-in-class.
