Marketing & Events Executive

We are looking for a creative & spirited marketer to spearhead the events & marketing efforts for matchday hospitality and recently revamped events space at this wonderful football club, which is packed with prestige & history.

The mission:

Joining a tight-knit marketing team of exceptionally talented individuals, you’ll find yourself in an environment where innovation is the name of the game. The transformation of their image and brand identity over the last few years has been nothing short of extraordinary.  You’ll collaborate closely with their incredibly talented Head of Marketing, who is hands-off and encourages you to steer your own projects and make impactful decisions.

You’ll collaborate on the development of events focused marketing campaigns, encompassing both acquisition and retargeting strategies & take ownership of driving growth projects, utilising creative solutions to propel initiatives forward.

You’ll also craft an engaging social media strategy aimed at expanding their social media following & capture high-quality content during events for use on websites and across various social media platforms. You’ll also assist in the production of marketing collateral, ensuring it aligns with the brand and messaging, and write for various channels, including the website, email campaigns, social media and print materials.

What we’re after 

Ideally, sound experience in marketing within the events or hospitality industry, and the ability to create and develop successful marketing campaigns.  This company prioritises people that have a vested interest in working for a firm that is dynamic, diverse and without question, does not follow the norm.  People learn in different ways so your experience can have been gained in a marketing or agency environment.

It’s mega important that you can stand on your own two feet & know your way around websites, social media & pulling together events & marketing materials.

Attitude & temperament is key in this role – the club & brand has changed significantly & they believe heavily in their marketing & for this reason, you’ll want to muck in & need a sound understanding of how to make the best use of creativity, social & digital technology, and wider marketing channels to deliver communications that provide the most value to this brand.
