Marketing Executive (22.5 hours)

Brief Overview

We’re on the lookout for a Marketing Executive who wants to work on a part time basis over 3 or 4 days for a software specialist on one of their award-winning brands.

There’s lots of flexibility with the role and opportunities to work from home, but there’s also travel to Scotland for 2 days every other month so you must be able to commit to an overnight stay.  If that still suits, read on as this is a fabulous role.

The role:

As a software specialist, this organisation has some really innovative brands and they’re looking for someone to help elevate the brands awareness and communication strategy with a focus on lead acquisition and client retention.

You’ll work within the marketing team, mapping out a brand strategy and communications calendar developing the brand’s identity and tone of voice as well as creating a brand style to use in all marketing communications.  You’ll manage the website, creating content and improving user journeys and analysing website performance, as well as creating landing pages and campaign assets as well as creating, delivering and analysing all marketing emails. Social media (primarily LinkedIn) will sit within your remit as will managing day to day SEO and PPC.

You’ll also create templates for branded company documents, and you’ll get involved with events for your brand but also those which affect the wider group.

What we’re looking for:

You will be an experienced marketer with at least 2 years’ experience of working within a b2b environment, and any experience within tech or software would be a real advantage.  You’ll have experience of writing content, updating websites, creating brand comms, organising events, managing databases and SEO.

Experience of marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, Mailchimp and Google Analytics would be advantageous.  Being a bit creative would also be useful and you will probably have skills within Canva.

You’ll be results-driven as you will manage all campaigns from start to finish towards a clear set of goals and you’ll also be confident working independently as much of the role will be spent working from home.  The Marketing team are based at offices in Derby, but you will also be required to travel to Glasgow every other month for a couple of days, as this is where the brand is based.

What’s on Offer?

The full-time salary for this role would be £30,000 so you’ll be earning c£18,000 for 22.5 hours, but these hours could be spread over 3 or 4 days so there’s some real flexibility on offer, you’ll also be entered into the company bonus scheme after a qualifying period.

Full time holidays would be 27 days, so these would be pro-rated to fit the part time hours, and you also get an additional day off for your birthday.  They offer 2 days off per annum as volunteering days, and have access to employee’s health and well-being services as well as access to employee discounts.

It’s important to mention that there is no intention to increase the hours for this role, so it wouldn’t suit someone who is looking to increase their hours in the short term.
