We’re proud to have partnered with this impressive brand who are eager to appoint a Marketing Manager who wants to work on the consumer-side of things!

The role

Starting business over a century ago, they really do know their industry inside out – it’s why they’ve made a name for themselves, have been able to expand globally, and enjoyed many successes! The UK marketing department, which is set in Derby, is filled with warm, friendly types, and they are always on the lookout for top marketers, hence why they’re now looking to recruit a Marketing Manager. The purpose of the role is to identify, create, and manage marketing campaigns as per the UK marketing plan. As you’d imagine from a role like this, you’ll enjoy a 360 marketing role and will be involved in managing the lifecycle of campaigns, from the design and development to their evaluation, and will be working across print and digital media, advertising, direct mail, social media, PR, the website and other online channels, events and exhibitions. The role will be supported by an experienced Senior Campaign Manager who will always be on hand to advise, and help where necessary, and although the role is geared toward the consumer, you’ll often find yourself working with the sales team and alongside the B2B marketing team to ensure that all campaigns are in line with the overall UK marketing plan.

What we’re looking for

Essentially, we’re looking for a Marketing Manager or Campaign Manager who has experience of juggling a variety of campaigns at the same time, and is eager to take on the challenge. It’s essential that you have proven experience of managing entire campaign lifecycles and a history of positive outcomes, it most likely means that you’ll be the type who is always looking at ways to improve performance and always keeping your eyes peeled for new opportunities. Sector-wise, a mix of B2B and B2C would be perfect as you’ll need be able to translate technical terminology and transform it into easy to understand, consumer-led, campaigns. It’s also important that you’re able to collaborate with internal departments and external agencies, and are comfortable presenting ideas to sales teams and delivering briefs.
