Marketing Manager

Brief Overview

The business is a market leader in their given field of expertise supplying their technology mainly into the NHS, public sector VCSE and other regulated industries, and they are growing at an exceptional rate. They now need an exceptional Marketing Manager with experience of marketing to the public sector, healthcare or other regulated industries to help them continue on their journey.

The role

As Marketing Manager for this SaaS based business you will help them build their brand, and acquire new customers across their key market verticals, which span across health & social care. You’ll be a self-starter with experience of delivering campaigns for both digital and offline channels, and you’ll manage a team of 2.

The primary focuses of the role are to deliver marketing campaigns and drive the acquisition of new customers online with the marketing plan using digital and offline channels. You’ll develop conventional marketing content such as white papers, case studies and brochures to support public sector engagement, and you’ll have an unwavering desire to build a global brand that has become synonymous with excellent customer service and innovation. You’ll manage a small team of two, and will report to the COO, working closely with the sales and account management teams to develop robust lead generation marketing initiatives.

You’ll create campaigns within HubSpot, developing lead generation and nurturing tactics through email, videos, content / landing pages, exhibitions, and social media. You’ll also create and promote video content for various departments, act as the brand guardian, and manage marketing agencies and data providers.

What we’re looking for:

A Degree in Marketing, CIM or other professional qualification would be desirable, plus a fair few years B2B marketing experience ideally in an SME or agency role. The essential bit is that you’ll need know-how of marketing to the public sector, healthcare, and other regulated industries.

Experience across the most common channels, in particular, lead generation through LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, and other social media channels. Demonstrable understanding of campaign measurement, ROI and conversion metrics is handy, as well as experience of HubSpot CMS (or similar) for website management, campaign building and management reporting. Training provided if necessary.

A practical understanding and experience of online marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Tag Manager is necessary, but more someone who’s imaginative and naturally curious – this is all about business discovery and detective work.

The role is offered on a hybrid basis with 3 days at home, and when you are in the office, they’re located near to the stations in Birmingham so a relatively easy commute.
