This is an opening with a centrally based Marketing, PR and Events agency which has a real pedigree of implementing successful, high profile, campaigns for clients in the hospitality, drink, food and leisure sectors.
The key focus will be handling the marketing requirements, both online and offline, for your designated client base which has very close links to the hospitality and leisure sectors. You’ll create and nurture relationships with both clients’ and suppliers to ensure sound partnerships are maintained and also take ownership for the management of the agency’s social media and marketing/PR outreach. On a day to day basis, you will work on the creation of detailed briefs for promotional campaigns, including research of local, corporate targets and local media, will produce costing’s and quotes that ensure profitability for projects, and take full ownership for development and implementation of campaigns. This will include content creation, posting and scheduling of social media content, copywriting and managing paid advertising campaigns. You will also implement client marketing, social media, and promotional activity as necessary and will assess the results, detailing the outcome of local marketing projects and social media campaigns, collating press coverage and providing results achieved. A part of the role will be working alongside the owners to implement the company’s new business development strategy.
What we’re looking for
You’ll most likely need a solid 3 to 4 years experience of running marketing campaigns that influences buyer behaviour, and it would be great if this has been linked to the food, drink or hospitality sectors. It is important that your experience is across online and offline channels, and a strong understanding of running organic and paid media campaigns is advantageous. Your key areas of expertise include solid client management skills and the ability to work seamlessly with internal & external contacts. You’ll need some exposure to new business pitches and above all else being competent in executing marketing strategies, campaign/event planning and overseeing budgets.
