The uniqueness of this role is that you will be joining a team that is truly evolving but has retained a great culture which is underpinned by a first-class record of staff development and retention. You will be working closely with the Head of Marketing and wider team, and your key responsibility will be to maintain and improve all paid channels to deliver efficient and cost-effective campaigns. You’ll also update your key stakeholders with progress, create automation where appropriate, and custom alerts to monitor performance where necessary.
You will look at in depth keyword research, identifying opportunities to drive efficiencies and test and optimise campaigns to meet targets/KPI’s. You’ll also manage the bid management platform to meet targets and KPI’s, and analyse data to identify trends and opportunities within the market and the paid search accounts. Needless to say, you will develop strong relationships with internal departments to support product launches and promotions, and ensure all campaigns are up to date with ad extensions.
You’ll also work closely with external partners to improve paid activity, and regularly research and review appropriate tools and software that could enhance the paid search channels. Where appropriate, you’ll be working with selected partners to deliver and manage the change process.
What we’re looking for
In essence, this is a chance to work for a very grounded and culturally sound organisation and would suit an agency or in-house digital practitioner with at least 3 years’ experience leading and developing PPC campaigns. You’ll also need experience with Google Analytics and Bing Ads as well as an understanding of automated bidding solutions and custom AdWords scripts.
It is essential that you possess substantial experience in the use of paid search management and tracking tools as well as managing campaigns and relationships. A solid understanding of paid search best practice and working knowledge and/or strong interest in other media channels especially SEO and Social Media is important and Google Adwords certified is an advantage.
