This is a very exciting brand new role where you will be responsible for developing partnerships with brands and external organisations who need top graduate talent. We’re looking for someone that can develop, build and drive this brand and raise their profile and reputation across the North West region. The role will be a mix of utilising online and offline channels such as brand awareness literature, events and social media activity in conjunction with attending network meetings to help raise awareness of this new service. You will be supported by an incredible marketing team which is renowned for innovation and creativity but you will have ultimate responsibility for the planning & execution of marketing & business development activities. As time moves on, you will identify opportunities to grow and expand the platform and service and build exceptionally strong commercial relationships with key organisations. You will organise and attend activities that help raise their profile, develop market insight and network within business circles. From time to time, you will attend pitches and other presentations required to retain and/or win new business. In essence, the role is designed to identify partners, build relationships and secure amazing opportunities for their customers.
What we’re looking for
This role will require you to be innovative and creative in your approach to planning & implementing a highly effective sales and marketing strategy to help drive this platform forward. It will require frequent interaction with senior internal and external partners, therefore, excellent stakeholder management and communication skills are paramount. This particular brand has made a deep impact on the market since it has been superbly positioned, marketed, and differentiated. For this reason, you will need a deep understanding of how to make the best use of integrated campaigns to drive attraction and provide the best experience. It is essential that you possess experience of developing and running marketing campaigns which have a business development focus. You will not be adverse to face to face presentations that can win over hearts and minds in addition to experience of developing and maintaining an employer brand. It is also beneficial to have experience of identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage and inform. A background in partnership marketing from an education or similar sector will be of interest for this role, but more important is your ability to drive a real mix of brand awareness campaigns.
