This an opening with an independent, full-service B2B focused PR and marketing communications agency who are experts in the field of rasing awareness for brands in the fields of science, industrial & technology, both in the UK and overseas.
Active role , start date any time between now and June. Reporting into senior agency heads, you will work on various key accounts and will get involved in all areas of work from research to writing all from of content & dealing with the media & cleints direct, which makes it interesting & diverse.
You will work with different firms which range from Fortune 500 multinational market leaders to, well established SMEs as well as technology start-ups, seekig to raise their profiles around the globe. They will come to you for audience insight, market knowledge, technical & scientific understanding as well as the nous that drives brand awareness, perceptions & marketing results.
This involves, but is not limited to, generating positive news coverage, achieving product placement in broadcast, print and new media and developing content for multiple tools and channels. It is important that at all times working proactively to promote the profile of the clients.
What we’re looking for
To be considered for the role, you will need at least one years of experience in a PR / Comms or marketing environment, ideally within a B2B client-side or agency capacity. This is stating the obvious but, you will be a strong writer – the role will include writing for different formats from press releases, content & blogs to the occasional white paper.
A decent insight of the B2B sector is pretty much essential, as you will need to develop knowledge of your clients’ industries and markets, and be able to decipher technical information into layman’s terms. Most importantly, attitude is imperative – you will receive a lot of training & you’ll be happy to take it all in & be as helpful as possible. It’s worth noting that a lot of their senior personnel started in junior roles so future potential of this role is high.
What’s on offer?
Salary is dependent on experience but will range between £18,000 – £22,000.
