B2B PR/Marketing Account Director required to work for one of the fastest growing, most decorated agencies in the North-West, with a reputation for looking after their staff and a history of flexible working.
We’re on the look-out for multiple candidates (7 in total) for this fantastic agency due to a massive increase in business from one of their longest-standing clients which has several businesses across the health, nutrition and pharma sectors. However, this role is likely to work on a mix of clients which are all quite technical b2b. It will be your responsibility to take the lead on all accounts within your remit as well as managing a very talented team of junior team members.
You’ll take responsibility for directing resources in order to develop the full potential of your accounts, and will oversee programme planning, costs, implementation and achievement of results. You’ll lead the strategic development of accounts, and will retain senior client liaison, and you may also be required to copywrite, proof and edit across your team. You’ll also handle issues and crisis management.
What we’re looking for:
You’ll have a minimum of 7 years’ experience gained within a b2b PR or integrated agency background, and you’ll either be an AD already or be looking to take the step up – our client is open to AD’s or Senior AD’s for this role. You’ll have worked across several accounts and teams and will be a strong man-manager. This agency has a really strong team, so you will need to be confident enough in your own abilities to be managing a very talented team.
You’ll need to be flexible, yet organised, diplomatic and inspiring. You’ll need to be a superb proof-reader of technical texts and be able to spot mistakes as well as speaking to clients and editors in the target language. A background in scientific or pharmaceutical clients would be useful, as would the ability to speak a second European language.
What’s on Offer?
Despite the challenges of 2020, our client has already added 16 new members of staff, and with the seven required as soon as possible in 2021, they’ll be over 60 people with a loyal and longstanding client base. Whilst there’s no such thing as job security at the moment, this is as close to it as you’ll get.
They’ve got amazing offices but have always adopted a flexible working policy which they will continue to do throughout 2021 and the future. Unlimited holidays, a fabulous bonus scheme as well as softer benefits are all part of the package (as is free parking when you’re in the office) and the salaries are fantastic. We’re looking at £40-45,000 for these roles, but there may be a bit of flexibility within that for the right candidate.Apply for role
