Senior Account Manager / AD

Brief Overview

This is an opportunity to join a global, independent, science and technology B2B communications consultancy. With headquarters in the UK and overseas, offering clients a global footprint, they build a bridge between science and commercial strategy and have more than 20 years’ experience in developing innovative marketing campaigns, both online & offline.

The role

You will be helping science, industrial and technology innovators to successfully communicate their value to complex audiences around the world. You’ll do this by immersing yourself in their clients’ markets, sectors, target media and businesses, so you can deliver insight-driven communications programmes that help achieve their business goals.

You’ll have the benefit of working with an experienced team of technical and scientific copywriters, scientists, linguists, communications and media professionals and creative and digital experts works tirelessly to deliver simple, effective and customised campaigns.

You’ll help organisations from Fortune 500 multinational market leaders, to well established SMEs and science and technology start-ups, who are looking to launch or grow their profile, brands and businesses around the world. You will proactively manage marketing communications programmes & this will typically include projects such creative & branding, inbound & content marketing, PR, media relations through to social & digital.   You will be the key client contact and must have a demonstrable track record in establishing trusted relationships with clients, suppliers and colleagues.

What we’re looking for

The role will be aimed at developing strategies and activities for clients alongside their senior directors and oversee their execution, quality controlling all aspects of the clients’ programmes and relationship with the agency.

You will have experience in some, or all of the following: PR / earned media, digital marketing, branding, creative, media buying, events.  This will have been gained in a B2B environment & you’ll ideally be educated to degree level (ideally in English, marketing, PR or science) combined with at least 5 years’ agency or in-house experience.

What’s on offer?

Salary ranges from £35,000 – £45,000 & the opportunity to join an agency which has an excellent reputation for the training and development of PR professionals and is offering the longevity of being able to progress to Client Services Director and work your way up within the agency.
