Senior Designer / Creative Lead

Brief Overview

This is a career-boosting role with a credible digital and marketing agency based in the heart of Manchester. The clients are predominantly business to business and cover different sectors, as do their requirements.  They’ve done exceptionally well in a short space of time via intelligent hires and producing work that breaks the norm and are now keen to hire a Senior Designer / Creative Lead who is moving up the ranks and can add value.

The role

In essence, you’ll look after a small team, and will be the lead creative and guiding light on all projects, working very closely with the internal teams to generate creative ideas and concepts for a range of integrated campaigns. Day to day, you will work on a mix of online and offline projects which will relate to either existing or new brands – you’ll work on the latter from the ground up, so plenty of room to utilise your true creativity.

The work will include websites, in-browser tools, display adverts, emails and landing pages following UX best-practices at all times, as well as content marketing assets such as eBooks, infographics, PDFs or, case studies. As expected, a part of this role will be to guide and mentor a small creative team as well as playing a significant part in the development and direction of the creative department.

What we’re looking for

A digitally focused creative who has a few years under their belt and a portfolio of work that must include design which values the use of white space and eye-catching imagery as well printed material which can hold the eye of the reader. Equally important is an ability to work on briefs which are fully integrated and include digital for different audiences and different brands.

You are more than likely in a senior creative role at the moment but want to push on and take on a position which will quite quickly become a Creative Director role. You may be at a bigger agency and quite simply want more of a say on projects and enjoy the challenge of leading from the front. Ideally, you will already have strong digital agency experience and can not only come up with ideas and well thought-out concepts but deliver on a wide range of briefs.

It goes without saying that you will enjoy leading and inspiring a small team and enjoy the challenge of influencing the creative output of the agency. Mentoring experience is important and you will be confident presenting your ideas internally and enjoy the challenge when a pitch for new or existing business is taking shape.

What’s on offer?
