Senior Digital Lead

Brief Overview

This is an opening to join a firm in the health & nutritional space is packed with prestige & pedigree and has grown steadily & sensibly since their inception.  They are known as pioneers & innovators in their sector and by joining them will open you to all aspects of digital marketing & e-commerce.

The role

You will be working with a market leading brand which is breaking new markets & territories, and is continually expanding, which adds incredible scope to the role. The company is driven by its creative & marketing, and whilst the team is quite small, it’s evolving all the time & now need someone to drive their digital strategy and enhance their growth with Amazon.

This is a newly formed role, working in conjunction with the Head of Marketing, you will be identifying opportunities, creating and delivering online campaigns to drive brand awareness, engagement and education through to conversion.  A key element will be to lead the Amazon growth acceleration strategy which will in turn maximise UK online sales whilst leading international e-commerce roll out.  They are already performing extremely well but clearly there is room for more growth & you will also be helped by nurturing and developing relationships with their key Digital agency partners.

You will also be given freedom to utilise the full mix of digital channels such as SEO, PPC, email & display & also enhance their use of social media & content by building 3rd party relationships with advocates, affiliates, bloggers, influencers etc. You’ll also benefit for having creative people around you that will create content that will wow & engage.

Another element will be to improve their CRM strategy and data management and look after the planning, budgetary control, and targets of all digital campaigns as well as evaluating digital customer requirements, market conditions and competitor activity.  Ongoing evaluation, via key analytics tools such as Google Analytics& A-B testing will also be important.

What we’re looking for

We need someone who will thrive in a small, close-knit team and will relish the opportunities given to them – this really is an opportunity to mould their digital presence & drive their growth with Amazon.     You will need to have demonstrable experience in e-commerce, content creation, web analytics and who is familiar with running campaigns across the most common digital channels.

You’ll need to have a strong understanding of e-commerce& digital marketing, and an interest in the nutritional, lifestyle or healthcare sector would be very handy for this level of opportunity.

The main element of SEO & PPC are handled by an external agency but you will need experience of managing such agencies & given the fact they already very successful, a lot of the groundwork has already been done – this is about using your creativity & digital savvy to push forward their brand & drive performance.
