Senior Digital Marketing Officer – FTC

Brief Overview

We’re on the lookout for candidates interested in undertaking a fixed term contract with a highly respected education provider, starting as soon as possible until Christmas 2022.

The role is available as a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave, and you will have a number of key roles within the marketing team. You’ll take responsibility for the main website as well as a number of international website, ensuring content request are fulfilled in a timely manner and taking an active role in developing specific content for projects and campaigns.

As well as leading on the digital aspect of marketing campaigns such as recruitment and clearing.  Additionally you’ll oversee all social media accounts, although this is through the management of a Social Media Officer.  You’ll create imagery for the websites and social media using Photoshop software, when required and you’ll also support the development of video content.  The creation of PPC and paid social media campaigns will also fall under your remit and you’ll use Google analytics to report on their effectiveness.

What we’re looking for:

We need a digitally experienced marketer who has a huge breadth of experience for this role.  You must be able to demonstrate experience of using experience of using web content management systems and generating creative campaigns, but you’ll also have experience of setting up and managing PPC and paid social campaigns as well as being a whizz at writing, editing and proofing content for digital channels and understanding and taking the lead across organic social campaigns.

It would also be great if you’ve got experience of building HTML emails and knowledge of Web Analytics such as Google Analytics.  Experience within the education sector would be advantageous but not essential.

What’s on Offer?

Salary for this role is up to £34,000 pro rate, working a 37.5 hour week.  There is an opportunity for hybrid working after a successful period of adaptation to the organisation – they really do need you in the office to learn the ins and outs of the business first.  Offices are centrally located within the city centre with easy public transport access.
