Due to considerable expansion, this company is looking to recruit two Senior Marketing Managers and it’s hard to imagine a more exciting time to join. They’re national publisher which is adding titles to its portfolio at a huge rate and consequently needs to increase the number of marketers in their team.
Due to sustained growth and ambitious future growth plans, these Senior Marketing Manager roles are pivotal in the team and its success, responsible for driving strategy, planning and performance. You will be responsible for the creation, development, exceptional execution, tracking and optimisation of compelling marketing campaigns that are customer focused and data lead to deliver desired ROI.
This role will work closely with all internal departments, particularly editorial, brand, CRM and product teams, and directly with commercial teams to maximise opportunities to commercialise these products and services. You will drive the monetisation of the CRM channel (and other channels in future) helping them to identify and match new opportunities. This will support and inform the sales teams helping them to unlock more revenue, create clear processes and, ultimately drive revenue to achieve desired results. You will create annual marketing plans, calendar, events and processes to maximise efficiencies, manage and track effectiveness of your own allocated budget. You’ll drive the creative production of online and offline marketing assets, design, print, digital, video production, digital tools from the initial concept to finished product and execution to the highest standards.
What we’re looking for
The successful candidates for these roles will be champions of the customer, a tenacious experienced marketeer, with a strong commercial eye for an opportunity and able to deliver. You will live and breathe digital and thrive working within a dynamic environment. You will have demonstrable experience of managing multi-channel marketing campaigns, ideally within the media industry, and possess a clear grasp of current digital marketing strategy and best practice – utilising social media and agency. You’ll need a broad understanding and experience in managing SEO, PPC and CRM campaigns as well as proven tactical and analytical skills, including an ability to interpret complex data quickly – including hands-on knowledge of Google Analytics, Facebook Ad Manager. An experienced people manager with a track record of developing others and a positive role model and leader for the wider team and business. Calm under pressure whilst managing multiple campaigns, suppliers, stakeholders at pace as well as being an excellent performance driver, people manager and network builder.
