Based in a quirky setting, this digital agency has expanded their offering throughout the years and has built a great team who are experts in all things digital, and they’re now looking to add to that team. Their account portfolio is filled with a superb selection of B2B and B2C clients, and the agency now needs a Senior Social Media Lead who can elevate their social offering. Working closely with the Senior Management team, you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end management of social advertising strategies and campaigns, which will involve carrying out social media audits, creating social strategies and creative ad campaigns, and then implementing them across a range of social channels. You’ll be working on both organic and paid campaigns, sometimes handling budgets of up to £100k, and will be utilising analytics software to assess the success of each campaign, before reporting to the client. Additionally, you’ll be on hand to support the business development process and promote the agency’s services across industry events – this does mean that you may have to speak at events from time to time. As part of the Senior team, you will also be overseeing the social team, responsible for inspiring and supporting them, ensuring that their expectations are in line with the business, helping them to hone their skills and progress.
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for a true digital native, who knows Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Pinterest like the back of their hand. You’ll need to know everything there is to know about social advertising campaigns, and how to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery social media and paid social services which are in line with other digital and offline touchpoints, and ensure that all work is completed on time and to budget. Of course, a wider understanding of digital marketing is a must, and it’s essential that you can create SEO-rich content for blogs, social media, and email marketing. Client management skills are also a must, as you’ll often be found liaising with clients to ensure campaigns are running smoothly, as well as offer advice and provide training. Software wise, you will need to be able to use Analytics software and reporting packages, MS Office, Photoshop, and working knowledge of AdWords would be advantageous. As a person, you must be a ‘go-getter’, who is comfortable liaising with stakeholders at all levels and presenting, and able to lead a team. You will be a creative inspiration, who is always coming up with fresh ideas, is passionate about the digital landscape, loves delivering an exceptional service, and wants to move your career forward as part of a growing team.
