Our client is a small marketing department within a hugely successful international organisation, providing qualifications and training opportunities for professionals and businesses. Due to their continuing success and a re-shuffle within the team, they’re looking for a Social & PR Manager. They’re looking for someone who can develop their social media platforms, grow their social media footprint but also to enhance their earned media opportunities through PR at an international level. You’ll develop social media strategy to ultimately drive brand awareness and new customer acquisition as well as developing an editorial calendar and managing social platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter. You’ll create an proofread engaging multi-media content and will copywrite for all organic and boosted social media posts along with reactive posts. From a PR perspective, you’ll develop strategies and PR plans that can be rolled out globally and will improve existing relationships as well as building and cultivating new relationships with journalists and thought leaders.
What we’re looking for
This role would suit someone with a background in both PR and Social Media from either an agency or in-house background, though experience within education, training or professional services would be a real advantage. You’ll be able to demonstrate a track record of creating successful social media and PR campaigns and along with an understanding of the importance of SEO and writing with SEO in mind. This is a busy team, so you’ll need to be flexible and adaptable.
