Social Media Executive

Brief Overview

We’re searching for a Social Media Executive to join a first-class agency in the heart of Birmingham. They have grown organically and sensibly over the past few years and have built an enviable reputation for staff retention and development. Their client base is second to none and covers many sectors from sports, and food and drink, to charities, and professional services.

The role

On a daily basis, you’ll work on an interesting mix of B2B and consumer accounts, and will often be found liaising with clients, handling and evaluating social media accounts, and will be continually building and improving social channels and presence across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, to name a few. As well as this, you’ll be creating and implementing paid for, and organic campaigns which will build their business and online profile, will ensure that regular content is pushed out across social media channels, and will also be on hand to react, advise, and assist in the development of their business strategies. In essence, building and retaining and loyal audience and delivering positive results will be the norm for you!

What we’re looking for

This is a belting Social Media Executive role, working across all social platforms both organic and paid social. You’ll need to be commercially focussed, will need to understand how important social is from a brand’s perspective, and will need to be the type who enjoys being part of an agency, and is able to contribute towards the good morale and team spirit of the agency. It’s also vital that you participate in internal and external meetings – these could be to show the team a project you’re really proud of, or contribute towards new business pitches. In terms of experience – we envisage a good 12 – 18 social media experience under your belt, and it’s a big plus if you have experience of running paid social campaigns.
