Graphic Designer – with Video Editing skills

Brief Overview

Are you a creative allrounder who enjoys bringing ideas to life across both design and video? We’re working with a creative agency looking for a talented designer with around 12 months’ experience who’s keen to develop their skills, get involved in a variety of projects and make their mark in a busy agency environment.

This is a great opportunity for someone at the early stages of their design career who enjoys variety, has an eye for detail and is just as comfortable working on visual content as they are editing video.

You’ll be working across a mix of creative projects, producing eye-catching designs and engaging video content for a range of clients. From initial concepts and artwork through to video editing and motion graphics, you’ll have the opportunity to get involved in different aspects of the creative process and continue building your experience.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone with around 12 months’ experience in a creative agency environment and a strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. You’ll have a good eye for design, typography, layout and visual storytelling, alongside video editing skills and an interest in creating engaging content and motion graphics.

You’ll need an adaptable, hands-on approach and the confidence to turn a brief into creative work. Just as importantly, you’ll enjoy working as part of a team, take pride in your work and be keen to learn.

You’ll need a full UK driving licence, as the client is based in quite a rural location which doesn’t have great transport links.

The important details

This is a full-time, predominantly office-based role, with four days a week spent in the office. It would suit someone who enjoys collaborating with other creatives, learning from an experienced team and getting stuck into a varied workload.
