In brief, we have been in business since 1988, so our industry knowledge is plentiful, and although some things may have changed since our inception, we have simply become more immersed in recruiting for the digital, PR, marketing and design sectors. We enjoy what we do, and we like to think it’s why we have always had a solid level of staff retention and the average time a recruiter spends with us is 3 years. Some have stayed much longer and gone on to become owners of the company and the ones that have moved on to pastures new have taken up superb posts, so our training and development isn’t too bad!
The sectors we cover are predominantly creative PR, digital and fully integrated agencies as well as in-house marketing departments across many B2B and consumer industry sectors. We like to think that our experience, strong reputation and ethos has helped us make a name for ourselves within the Midlands and North West regions, and are proud to have garnered an eclectic mix of clients, ranging from well-known UK brands through to small independent agencies.

There are many recruiters that do what we do, but not all work with such an eclectic mix of clients, which range from well-known UK brands to some of the most innovative digital, PR and design agencies in the UK. You will also work with some very talented and inspiring candidates that make your daily working life, interesting and enjoyable. You can guarantee that we won’t set you ridiculous targets or expect you to spend time making unnecessary calls – our business is based on long term relationships which requires tact, diplomacy and a sensible approach to recruitment. In reality, a credible consultant needs to have an engine for hard work, but at the same time can retain a sense of humility and have respect for all walks of life.
Overall, we are an incredibly close-knit team who work together to achieve success and simply want to enjoy their working day – let’s face it – we do spend a long time in the office so let’s make it as enjoyable as possible. We have instigated a very clear and well thought out path for the future and we want the people that join us to be here for the long run, well, at least for the next three years.
We are currently looking for a Recruitment Consultant with one to three years’ recruitment experience who has a sound insight into the recruitment process, and is looking for an opening where you can stay and grow with the business. We are very open on which sector you operate in, as most of our successful recruiters have worked in different disciplines from Finance to IT. It is more important that you have an empathetic approach to your candidates as well as being able to work with a mix of clients, all with different aspirations. We will also consider candidates that are working within our fields of expertise such as digital or PR, and would like to swap sides and move into the field of recruitment – it’s not that bad, we promise!
You will also be joining a recruitment business which is extremely well established, and has built a fine reputation for carrying our recruitment in the right way. You will also work with a team of very experienced consultants who will add value to your career in recruitment and future personal development.
