This is a brilliant opportunity for a Communications Executive to work closely with the Chief Executive to undertake all communications activity, as this award-winning engineering company transitions its marketing and communications in-house.
As an engineering business, our client sells solutions which will revolutionise and transform their customer’s businesses, and they have teams based on-site with some of the most well-known, global brands. With a fabulous head office in Birmingham, they also have multiple regional offices, as well as client residencies, so their internal and external communications is absolutely key. In this brand-new role, you will report directly to the CEO contributing to the day-to-day development and execution of both internal and external communications strategy.
This will include employee newsletters, emails, social media content, and digital signage. You’ll also be involved with the comms element of the external websites, so uploading news, creating new pages, and managing monthly maintenance.
You’ll support the management of the external PR agency (not everything can be brought over straight away!)and will coordinate divisional and Group stories and media assets to accompany PR activities.
What we’re looking for:
You’ll have at least 12 months of commercial experience within communications, ideally both internal and external, and experience gained from a B2B or engineering organisation would be an advantage.
Naturally, you’ll have fabulous written and oral communication skills and will be able to communicate effectively with a range of individuals across the organisation. A commercial, working knowledge of social media platforms is also really important.
