Digital Marketing Executive

Brief Overview

This is an opening to join one of the longest established manufacturers of household consumer goods which is packed with history & prestige.   They are known as pioneers & innovators in their sector and by joining them will open you to all aspects of marketing & ecommerce.

The role

This will be a 360-marketing role, predominantly focused on e-commerce & digital but, with exposure and involvement in all areas of the marketing mix.  They do use agencies for certain projects but the most is curated & develop internally, which makes the role fulfilling & interesting.

Typically, you will be involved in producing ideas & copy for their social media posts & advertising in addition to uploading products for their website which is Magento based.  You will also be involved in looking at ways to improve CRO & working with affiliates. Another element will be Email campaigns – briefing creative suggestions & copywriting for SEO purposes for their website.

Writing press releases, researching journalists, and making contact to secure coverage & reaching out to third party brands, bloggers and influencers will also be an integral element.  There is also longevity in the role, but they are keen for someone to take on more responsibility as the business continues to grow.

What we’re looking for

This role will most likely suit a graduate with a relevant marketing degree who has at least 2 years’ experience in a marketing or agency-based environment.  Experience in an e-commerce setting will be a big advantage as well as sound knowledge of working with Magento websites, uploading products, and writing copy.  It is also important that you have wider marketing knowledge, in particular CRO, affiliate marketing, SEO & email and ideally exposure to working with Amazon.  You’ll enjoy all aspects of marketing, are happy to take on any given project and thrive in an environment, which is innovative and progressive.

In terms of career development – you’ll be hard pushed to find better at this level. It is imperative that you are used to working on online campaigns and have the energy and drive to work competently in an environment which can change daily.
