A company from the B2B sector, based in Shropshire, requires a Digital Marketing Manager.
Working closely with the Head of Marketing, the Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for devising a digital marketing strategy and implementing it across the company’s numerous divisions nationwide. You’ll be the sole digital marketer so it’s quite a hands-on role! Each UK division has varying levels of digital marketing expertise, so it will be your role to support each Managing Director in the implementation of campaigns. This aspect of the role will feel a bit like Account Management, so this position may well suit someone from an agency environment who is looking to make the move in-house. You’ll be tasked with ensuring that the digital marketing capacity is aligned to the businesses strategic direction, new business development targets, and budgeted commitments. In addition to this, you will take control of the business’s online presence across their multiple websites, handle PPC/ Adwords campaigns, work with the existing external SEO agency, devise a calendar of email marketing activity to be implemented across the business group and assist with new product launches, which will include attending networking events.
What we’re looking for
We’re not looking for a Digital Marketing Manager who is more comfortable overseeing a digital team, rather than getting stuck in themselves. That said, you will be overseeing each of the 8 divisions through the process of each campaign, so you will need project or account management skills. You must have a minimum of 3 years’ pure digital marketing experience, with expertise in PPC campaigns, SEO, CMS tools, email marketing, budgeting and Hootsuite.
