This is a hands-on role & you will be fully involved with supporting the creation and delivery of their marketing strategy. It has a heavy content focus and therefore, you will be involved with writing content for SEO, e-shots, white papers, and some social media, however, the website is also due to be completely redesigned within the coming months and therefore, supporting with the management of this will also be part of your role. You’ll also help to guide & mentor a small marketing team, so excellent people management skills are paramount as well as the ability to coordinate and contribute to numerous strands of an ambitious integrated, marketing strategy.
Given the nature of the industry our client works in, the role will involve a lot of understanding technical information and being able to ‘translate it’ to clear, concise and compelling everyday language. You’ll have significant input into the businesses’ marketing strategies, building brand awareness so you will enjoy formulating demand and lead generation B2B marketing campaigns & overseeing their success.
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Manager, ideally from a tech/software background, however other b2b backgrounds where you can evidence a large amount of technical information being put into everyday language will also be considered. You’ll need to be experienced in all aspects of content and will have some experience of guiding junior marketers. A broad knowledge and practical application of all aspects of the marketing mix and its utilisation to influence at senior management levels is also important.
What’s on offer?
Whilst this role will be office based there is the opportunity for home working. Salary for the role will be dependent on experience, but between £30,000 and £35,000. Due to the timescales involved in this recruitment, the client is considering candidates for a 6 month fixed term contract, which may be extended to permanent.Apply for role
