Digital Marketing Manager

Brief Overview

We’re searching for a savvy Digital Marketing Manager who is itching to join a first class agency in the heart of Birmingham. They have grown organically and sensibly over the past few years and have built an enviable reputation for staff retention and development.

The role

On a daily basis, you’ll work on a diverse and interesting mix of B2B and consumer accounts, that includes everything from food and leisure, to charities and professional services. You’ll be liaising with clients, effectively handling and evaluating their accounts, implementing campaigns which will build their and online profile and will always be on hand to react, advise, and assist in the development of their business strategies. You will be creating and heading arrange of tailored digital campaigns, and delivering positive results will be the norm for you, and your work will go towards helping clients achieve their business goals.  You will have the support from the PR and digital team with the genuine opportunity to grow your own digital team. The role assumes many responsibilities, which makes it interesting and diverse and will provide you with an opportunity to make your mark and play a leading role in establishing something uniquely special and to help this agency continue forward. You will need to be someone who enjoys being part of an agency and are able to contribute towards the good moral and team spirit of the agency, and its vital that you participate in internal and external meetings – these could be to show the team a project you’re really proud of, or contribute towards new business pitches.

What we’re looking for

It goes without saying that we’re looking for an experienced Digital Marketer but this could range from a senior exec looking for a move up or someone who is more of an established manager who irking to take on more challenging role. You will have a proven track record in delivering successful campaigns across PPC and display advertising, as well as experience of content management systems, CRM solutions, email marketing software and SEO. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years’ experience working in digital marketing (either agency or client side). This is a client facing role and you will need to be confident in understanding the client’s needs, developing ideas and translating them into engaging online activities. Above all else, you will be commercially astute, happy to work on their own and also within a team environment. It is essential that you have the ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines. Experience working on a variety of B2B and consumer accounts would also be handy.
