2024 is looking to be a very exciting year for this trade retailer of health and beauty products. Obviously, business is thriving but they’re also looking to gradually increase the size of their marketing team, and the first opportunity is for a Marketing Manager to support the Marketing Director. This will be a brand new role, so whilst there’s a pretty detailed plan of what you’ll be involved with, there’s also room to work to your strengths!
If ever there was a role which could be described as all-encompassing, this would be it! Established over fifty years supply trade industry they have retained their network of retail outlets whilst also creating a fabulous ecommerce offering. They’ve got a vibrant field sales team to support as well as an absolutely huge product list. The idea of this role is to be a hands-on Marketing Manager, assisting the Marketing Director with strategy but dealing with much of the day to day marketing offering.
You could be overseeing one of many email campaigns for promotion or product launch, copy for the website, organising the production of some fairly hefty print catalogues to support the sales team or working with the inhouse design team on POS or social media content. You could be liaising with a number of the many global brands whose products they sell, thinking about promotion and ensuring brand guidelines are being followed. You’ll be organising and attending events and exhibitions and possibly assisting on photoshoots. There is likely to be some people management within the role, but as of yet the exact number hasn’t been confirmed.
What we’re looking for:
Digital, brand, offline, events. If you’ve got experience of all of these elements we definitely want to be hearing from you! You’ll be the type of marketer who loves to be in a broad role, and you’ll probably also have a real interest in the health and beauty sector. Equally, you’ll be happy within a marketing team; this role will allow you to develop your own strategies alongside the Marketing Director, but also be heavily involved with implementation.
You’ll have a Marketing degree or similar, with at least four years’ experience in a marketing role. You’ll be a superb copywriter and proof-reader and you will be responsible for checking the accuracy of all communications for the marketing team.
This role would probably suit someone who is well-established within marketing. Perhaps you really enjoy the implementation, but don’t necessarily want the strategic element that sometimes comes with other senior roles.
What’s on Offer?
Salary for this role will depend on experience, but is c£35-40,000. It is an office based role, 5 days per week and there’s loads of free parking available. This is definitely a role for someone who wants to continue progressing and who would love to work within the health and beauty sector.
