Marketing Manager

Brief Overview

This is an opening to join an innovative and serially successful £multi-million turnover SME who are pioneers in the fields of software solutions & digital transformation to clients across the globe – in both private and public sectors.

Following further success, they are undergoing another phase of expansion and have objectives in place in terms of business development and new client acquisition.  To achieve this, the company is looking for an innovative B2B marketer to create awareness & noise via tactical marketing campaigns.

The role

Their team provide an integrated range of Solutions Architecture, Business Analysis, Project Management and Software Development services, complemented by a dynamic human resource function. You will be the pivotal link between the delivery team and the sales/marketing function & proactively seek out opportunities for campaigns based on innovations being undertaken.

You will be the creator of campaigns & manage the ‘tone of voice’ of the company’s messaging to reflect its position as a leading provider to a range of industry verticals – particularly financial services; banking and insurance. You will also ensure the execution of such campaigns and initiatives are seamlessly executed & proactively generate engaging content to support marketing initiatives.

You will also work closely with the sales function to analyse the competitive marketplace & understand potential receptiveness of their messaging & undertake analytics to analyse their effectiveness. You will also utilise an effective CRM system & manage their presence at exhibitions, seminars, trade shows and networking events including post event promotion and analysis.

What we’re looking for

Above all else, you’ll need to be self-sufficient & highly skilled in delivering innovative B2B marketing campaigns; online & offline, from concept to execution. It is preferable that your marketing expertise has been honed in an IT solutions or professional / financial services sector as well as having a sales/business generation philosophy to marketing.

Without question, you’ll be an effective communicator and influencer; more than capable of building effective working relationships, internally & externally and be able to produce a high standard of written content for online & offline purposes. This also applies to generating targeted, engaging copy aligned to target audiences as well as CRM experience – preferably, but not essential, Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

You’ll also need to demonstrate a proven record of  playing a key role in discovering new market areas and attracting and engaging them to open up opportunities as well as building on existing client relationships.

You’ll definitely need experience of communicating at C-Level, and needless to say you will have a proven track record in producing and managing successful end-to-end marketing and communication campaigns, and know how to reach hard to reach target audiences.
