The role will see you working with a variety of clients, liaising closely with journalists and the media, planning PR activities, and taking part in agency-wide brainstorms, and collating and delivering client reports.
Due to consistent new client wins, this agency is looking for a PR Account Executive to join their close-knit PR team where you will work on a mix of consumer and business-to-business client accounts. You will be working on some well-known consumer accounts as well as some trade and B2B clients, covering a diverse range of sectors including property, retail, consumer durables, utilities, and education. You will also have the opportunity to work alongside digital, advertising and creative departments and will also benefit from a range of internal and external training programmes.
What we’re looking for
As you’ll be responsible for supporting the team across a number of accounts, it goes without saying, that you will require exceptional organisational and communication skills. You will be expected to build relationships with clients and the media, and act as their point of contact, and contribute to the direction of the division. The structure of the agency means that you will get the opportunity to work alongside the digital, advertising, and creative departments which will enhance your experience. As an individual, you will have between 6 – 12 months experience which may have been gained on a placement or recently in an agency environment. Experience of working with either B2B or B2C client accounts is desirable – both would be a bonus! This is a great team who have won a few awards and there is a lot going on so you will certainly need exceptional communication skills, and be confident managing and prioritising workloads and juggling clients’ needs. You should be personable and genuinely enthused about PR and happy to work in a close-knit team.
What’s on offer?
A salary between £17,000 and £19,000, as well as a grounded and positive working environment and plenty of opportunity for personal development and growth.
